I have a couple of Mego M-16 that need new carrying straps. Anyone know what color thread type that mego used on the Original Ape's M-16s. Also, they and some boots need to be cleaned and are a little on the dull color side with the whiten on the black, Any suggestions?

Mine are all a medium brown colour (not all exactly the same shade though)

mine are also the darker shade of brown bu some are lighter than others

if you look really close at the original thread it almost looks like it's two colors to me? maybe it's just the light.

I use Lemon Pledge Furniture Polish on plastics. I also use it on many carded action figures with amazing results. It's like putting a coat of wax on your toys. For some reason regular Pledge doesn't work as well as Lemon Pledge

Viniger works great for cleaning them,nothing harsh in it,won't scratch them and even helps take out any oders.
