Price check on Speedy

I have a chance to buy a really nice one, only missing his hat. I know that's the hard piece to get, but I could deal with it if that's the only repro part. I've seen him and the other Titans go for some pretty high prices before, so I thought what the seller is asking seemed fair. When talking to friends, they've given me a pretty wide range of prices, from $125-$150 complete, to $250-$275 being average. So what is a decent price for a very nice Speedy, all original, but no hat?

I've never seen a complete Speedy go for $125-$150.

Assuming the average price of a complete Speedy is around $275, I'd say the hat is easily a $75 item.

So, that gives you $200 for one with no hat.

I'd say $150-$175 would be a more decent price for one with no hat though. That hat is nearly impossible to find by itself.

I'm going with Heath on this. A nice complete Speedy is $250-275. With no hat, he drops in price. I've seen a lot of transactions around here in the last 7 years, but have only seen one Speedy hat go on it's own, so it's not an easy piece to come by. If the hat is a big deal to you, I'd wait and find a complete one. If it isn't, that $175 price Heath mentioned is pretty fair.

i picked up a hat sepretly to complete my speedy and with that i am into my speedy for a total cost of $245.00. He is now complete so i figure without the hat you are deff looking about $175.00 just a heads up in my opinion

Wasn't there someone in the marketplace recently (past few months) selling just a Speedy hat?
Can't recall who it was or if it sold. Or maybe they were looking for a hat, which in that case... nevermind.
