How Rare are the CS Spiderman's

I was wondering how rare cirle suit spiderman's are. Would it be easy to trade one for other megos such as a R/C batman or any others. Any input will be good.

Other input welcome but I sold two for $250@ I've seen them as high as $350 in mint shape. I think the RCB would have to be crispy mint with stirrups and skinny boots. The thing is that they are much more rare.

They rank pretty high on the Megomuseum scarcity index.

I think it is pretty hard to find a crispy mint R/C Batman though wouldn't it. I would really love to have a mint R/C batman. I would probably trade for a CSSpiderman.

naw i've seen many mint RC Bats,not many Circle Spideys around.What condition is the Spidey? does it have a tiny hole in the back of the suit?

Thanks I think I will probably hold on to him for awhile and save him for my kids when they are older.

Yeah I have seen many R/C Batman's also and it is a lot easier to get one of those than the Circle Suit Spiderman. I am ordering a repro Kresge Card for him.

RCB's are much more common than CSS's but not too often do you see them crispy mint with stirrups and skinny boots. I'd follow benbarb auctions. I have seen his go as high as $280 but they always perfect or very near. CSS still trumps it though. But not by much when you're talking high end. I'd keep the CSS until you can upgrade. You may have a hard time doing it without paying a bit.

I forgot all about Dan's scarcity index. What a great collecting tool. I remember also all the work that went into it. Surprising to see Batman, Robin, and Shazam so high up on the list as I remember those characters were incredibly plentiful when I was a kid...there were always at least 15 of them on the pegs at Child World. I used to get mad because they, along with Shazam, Spidey, Cap, and Hulk were the only ones I ever saw carded in the stores...a Joker popped up once in awhile but for some reason my Joker always remained in nice shape as a kid so I never needed a replacement as I did with other characters...CS Spidey, however, I NEVER saw.

I bought one of them. It was in pretty sweet shape.
