mego Dalek or Palitoy?

Hiya folks,

In the museum, there is a warning about Palitoy Daleks. Only Denys Fisher are made by Mego, it says.

Are these two made from the same molds? All DF/Mego Daleks have a Red top? and blue buttons? Did any of the Palitoy models have the same color pattern? Do both toys have the 'push roll' friction drive action?

Are there any markings on the Dalek to tell the two apart?

They're pretty distinguishable but seeing as the one says "Palitoy" and see it's scale, people assume it's a mego product when actually it's from Tomy.

Ok,

I understand. The confusion comes from Palitoy licensing some mego products, but not the Dr. Who line. Palitoy had their own license for the talking toys. It was not clear on the blurb that the museum has on the Doctor items and I have never seen a Palitoy one. made me wonder if they were sharing parts.
