    mego type 2 bodies

    hey guys,
i've always wondered about the mego type 2 bodies. some figures come with a flesh pelvic, others with a blue, and others with a black. does anyone know if it denotes different years of production? or is each color for a particular figure?

I just read this same query recently in another thread. Can't recall exactly how long ago or in which room but if I remember right the consensus was that the flesh colored ones were earliest and the other colors were used with no rhyme or reason except in the case of where the body was colored a specific color (green/red/etc) and in those cases the pelvis section would be body color.
Anyone with better memory or more info (or corrections) feel free to chime in (or link other thread).

If'n I recall correctly, black was CHiPs/Dukes era (tho not limited to those characters) and thus the last pelvis color. The flesh ones were early, and various blues were in the middle.

I asked a similar question back in Oct. Here is the thread if it helps any.
