David, Spotter is correct, they are not left and right specific but some do have colour variations (light green/dark green - personally I put it down to the thickness of the plastic - thinner plastic = lighter green) so if possible try to source a pair. The same applies to the gloves too.

Very Good Point ~ I had just bought a Robin shoe to replace a bitten one and yes, slightly different color hue.
