Type2 Pelvises

I am sure this is not a brand new topic, so if there is a prior thread, please add it.
My topic is this.
There is a decent variety of colors of T2 Pelvises. Are they dated or specific to particular characters. Red, green, and white are pretty obvious, but what about black, dark and light blue, and flesh. Given Megos trends, I am guessing not, but thought I would ask the pros.

I don't think they mean variant, or anything, but for example does the original conan come with a particular pelvis, vs the other heros or lines.
Do star trek all have Dark Blue?

Basically is there any method to the pelvic varieties??
By release date? or by Line?

All my figures are loose and many have been mixed and matched over the years so I have no clue about this.

The nudes are earlier followed by blue to give them some decency.
Later came Blacks. Since Tarzan was the first discontinued male, I assume you won't find any with anything but flesh tone. You see most of the dukes with black.
There are other colors that aren't seen as often. if mego had the plastic on hand they used it. No real method to the madness.

They are not so much character specific as they are time of production specific. that is not even a science because there were multiple colors of pelvises available at the same time. I don't know of anyone being a stickler on figure accuracy as long as it is original mego.

I think a pelvis on a non caucasion body always has a uniform color. Red on Red , brown on brown etc.

I had no idea that the pelvises came in more colors than flesh and (dark) blue. But now that I think about it I know I had green, black, brown, and red on Megos who had bodies those colors. I don't think I ever saw a colored pelvis on a caucasian body other than fleshtone and (dark) blue.

wait so did they come in red and green? alsp i got a tarzan with a blue pelvis but im not sure if it was the original body.

Yes, on Human Torch, Lizard, Green Goblin, Neptunian, etc. I have no idea if red or green were available on caucasian Megos.

There are light brownish pelvises that came with caucasion bodies too. I think I have seen reddish pelvises w/ Caucasian bodies too. Not the red of Torch.
Except for possible warehouse clearing figures assembled at the end of the company, there were no red or green pelvises on causcasion bodies.

T1's are are color coordinated with the body.

Girl pelvises are are almost all color coordinated with the body. The exception: some caucasion later ones have white pelvises.
