    The Mego Store???

    Hello forum members...as I stated in a previous post, I am new to this forum and was wondered if anyone has the same issue I've had with "The Mego Store".... I ordered almost (3) weeks ago some plastic vinyl cases for some loose Mego figures..I've followed up with several emails with no response, nor could I find a phone # on the website....anyone know whats going on with them?

      This is a bit of a touchy and controversial issue here at The Museum forums. Some may not think that it would be for me to say, However, being someone for whom is a customer/victim of the Megostore.com I can safely say that his issue/topic seems to constantly happen quite frequently here regarding the Megostore.com. I for one have been awaiting two orders that I ordered back in Feb of this year. To this date I still have not received either orders. I have been way more than patient. Some would probably even go as far as to say beyond patient. More like ridiculous. I have contacted Joe - The owner of the Megostore.com on several occasions. He is also one of the moderators here at The Mego Museum. I nudged him along each time to the point to where my order status finally shows shipped as of May. Unfortunately, I still to this date never have received my orders either. The communication is pretty bad to say the least. I have been trying to get a hold of Joe myself lately once again. I have been trying to get him to give me a tracking number for both of my orders. Still nothing.. I do not know what else to do....???? I am not wanting to bash Joe or slam him, but I believe his actions speaks for themselves. Has anyone had any "recent" good luck at receiving their Megostore.com orders? I would like to read of some success stories for a change instead of all of the threads like these.

          You've waited 6 months for your order!!! YOU DO HAVE PATIENCE!!! If I don't recieve them by the end of the month, I'm calling my Credit Card company to cancel the transaction....anyone have suggestions for securing my loose WGSH figures? I really like the design on Joe's website, but if he can't deliver, I must go elsewhere...

            In my case I placed two seperate orders. One of the orders stated later that it was on backorder. At the time of order there was nothing showing backordered and all the items that I ordered were in stock and had plenty of quantity as per the web site. This is why I ordered. Had I known that there was a back order I would not have placed an order. In Joe's defense he did come down with an illness shortly after. This is totally understandable as life happens to all of us. I allowed Joe more than extra time to come through for me. Then again that was then and this is now. Still waiting...
