    Cleaning Boss Hoggs Suit.

I picked up a Boss Hogg that looks like he has been standing in the pig sty for a while. Bad water stains up to his knees and the overall suit is dirty and dingy. Boss would never stand for anything less than a bright white suit!

Anyone have a good tip for restoring his clothes.

I tried to soak it in some Downey and scrubbed the stains with Shout. Did not have much change though the water did have a good old fashioned Georgia red clay color to it when I was done.

I don't have his Hat, Shoes or Suit Jacket so I may just get him a different set of clothes altogether.

you might want to try Joy dish washing liquid with warm water and let it soak for a few days ... I did that with a couple mego outfits and it worked wonders ... but they weren't white, I don't know if you could get everything out of white ???

I'll give it a try. I am also looking at a non chlorine bleach. I figure Chlorox would probably destroy the fabric.

          As received

          One hand Wash with Downey

After one hand wash and 2 soakings in Chlorox Oxygen Action

A little more cleaning and ironing. A New Suit Coat, Some Shoes and a Hat and he will be acceptable for display!

Quite a bit better. Nicely done. Yes that is much more respectable for the Hogg.

                Thanks

Little more work on the bottom of the legs and I think it will look great. Considering I paid a whopping $0.99 for Boss (plus $4.00 shipping) I am happy.

First attempt at cleaning a MEGO suit.
