Thats a good question. Theres so many fine illustrations. I've always had a thing for the Mad Monsters artwork though. Its very cool.

I really like the little windows that show Action Jackson in various scenes.

For me there is no doubt, the Western boxes. Man those just rock!

I'm also a big fan of the POTA Palitoy card.

As for WGSH, I also favor the Palitoy artwork to the regular Mego cards.

I know it's the same art as the boxes, but I dig the way it looks on a Kresge/1st issue card.

I think Barry Windsor Smith's Conan on the back of the marvel cards was enough to make me want to buy the figure. kirby's reed richards and the thing boxes are very cool too.

my favorite artwork has always been the box for the exploding bridge playset.

My favourite would be Gray Morrow's Mad Monsters boxart, followed by the Western boxes. I also really like the artwork on the 12" Superman the Movie figure boxes. (I agree that the Action Jackson paintings and the Micronauts box paintings that showed up later in the series are really too though)
