I still prefer buying my stuff from toy shows or collectibles shops, but more often than not when I do find items there, they're overpriced and not in the best shape. But when I do find good deals it's a real pleasure, and always more enjoyable than going the Ebay route.
And I don't know that they're drying up, I think maybe right now it's just at a low point. In two months you might suddenly see an influx of awesome stuff for sale. It always seems to go up and down, from what I've seen. I've run into more and more people lately who are taking a renewed interest in Mego, whether because of EMCE, Robot Chicken, Ben's book, etc. It feels like Mego is very popular right now! I think there's still plenty to go around though.
