My weekend Mego find at Flea market

Nothing great, but I wasn't exactly looking for mego. I found a movie at a table I was interested in, it was $3, but decided to come back after I walked around. Well I went back and paid the guy 10 bucks and he gave me $7 back, and as I was walking away, I noticed a 8 inch tarzan sitting on a tin horse, how I missed it the first time puzzles me. I asked how much, and he replyed I wanted $10 but since I just gave you 7 in cash back, I'll take seven. I picked him up, he was a type one, and his tan tights where over his lion cloth. The guy told me that he was one of the Planet of the Apes guys, and I just looked at the guy with a "oh is that what he is look". I looked him over and he had holes in each foot and a tiny hole in one knee. I told him I'll take him for $5, the guy hestated, and said yes. No great finacial find, but the experience of finding a Tarzan 35 years later was worth the 5 bucks alone. It made my day. Oh the movie was "Vitus" a foriegn movie that is a great feel good movie if you can stand to read text.

I found a naked Fonz and a Starsky in a metal bird cage last year at an auction house.

That is sweet. I love when you come across flea sellers who sell lets say, needle point, and have a few other goods to sell. They usually have no idea what they are selling and are missing teeth. I tend to seek out the missing teeth couple who drive around and live out the back end of the truck. I found some redline hotwheels worth about $180 bucks and he had no idea what he had and sold them for a NICKLE a piece. LOL

I love the naked Dinah Mite that hangs with the 50's Kewpie-Hula Girl and the Dawn dolls every once in a while at Antique shows. I've found 4 or 5 that way...
