    Best "Crossover" Mego

Which figure did you use most often involve in adventures outside his line? Or... which one do you think is the best multi-purpose player, whether or not you had it as a kid.

For me. it was probably the Neptunian. I was a WGSH kid and he served perfectly as a generic villian. I could make him fly, swim, have super strength, whatever. Some of my heroes did have to take on Dracula a few times, but not nearly as many times as they battled Neppy.
    WANTED - Solid-Boxed WGSH's, C.8 or better.

I would have to go with Hutch. He is just so plain, making him easy to adopt for any purpose.
"I should say I`m very much cleverer than any of the people who put me here. As a matter of fact, I could leave any time I wanted. It`s only a doll`s house after all. Anyway, I don`t mind. I like dolls" - The Mad Hatter, Arkham Asylum.

Great thread idea, I'd say for me it was AJ, I had a a lof of outfits so he could be the apes astronaut, a supervillian or a space guy for trek.

The runner up for me was Cochise, he became Apache chief and a star trek character.

I think today I might have to chose AJ. With all his accessories, you could really cook up some bad guys.

Luke Duke. He was the utility secret ID of EVERYONE. Bruce Wayne. Dick Grayson. Peter Parker. Bruce Banner. You name it, he was it.

Using what I had available, Dr. McCoy was hired as a goon by the Joker a few times. He ended up with a magic marker beard.

The much loathed WALTONS figures seem to be quite popular as "victims" of the villains in the various lines, so I'd maybe vote for them even though I never had them when I was young... Plus, John Boy makes a good STAR TREK "red shirt", and Mary Ellen can pull off the Uhura dress, so that adds to their credentials...

I had RC Batman, Superman and Aquaman as a kid and when they weren't being superheroes they were dates for my Dawn dolls (even though the scale was off).

Gotta go w/ AJ or the Astronaut. The possibilities were/are endless!

From a customizing perspective Mr. F is pretty much the guy that seems to most often become someone else. I've seen that head used to make just about every other hero possible.

Yeah, he was my Nick Fury when I was a kid.

As a kid Action Jackson filled in as Harry Mudd and as Landan and as a goon working for the Penguin and the Riddler and as a nut with a machine gun for the SWAT guys to take down
