How do you display your Megos?

    Hi!

I was wondering if most people here use stands to display their figures? Do you keep them in a glass cabinet or on a shelf? Does anyone keep the figures in any kind of plastic box to keep dust off of them? Do you create dioramas? The world wants to know!

    Thanks!

Mine are mostly in cardboard boxes at this point which is why I spent the last few years radically shrinking my collection to just what really grips me. I dumped off almost all my vintage stuff and all my trek and pota. Mostly now the Batman 66 and Universal Monsters. What I do display I have in large plastic bookcases with a kind of clear plastic slipcover over the top. I need to get some clear led Xmas lights to mount on the undersides of the shelves and wire them all to a six plug strip so I have an easy on off lighting solution.

Thank you for the photo, Wee! Spotted quite a few things I had but lost to a storage disaster. This is like visiting old friends!

Oh, as to the topic, at the moment I'm using glass cylinders meant for flower arranging. Kinda makes me feel like Dr. Praetorius from Bride of Frankenstein!

This looks like a Vintage Toy Collectible Store that I would love to stumble across.

I need a hundred or so of those plastic storage boxes that Kevin uses for his huge collection of Action Jacksons.

I basically have 2 ways I display my Megos, one by choice and one by necessity. The necessity has me hanging some from the ceiling because it's the olny real spaceor them. I sew a hook made from floral wire on the back of the costume and use some electrical staples hammered into the ceiling to hang them up. The second is my standard way of setting up a display, using the floral wire as a sort of stand to allow me to pose the figure however I want and move the whole display if need be without having figures toppling over. The main thing is always to create some kind of scene or movement, so they can pose doing something, being in action in some way, as they are action figures.
