1970's Star Trek U.S.S. ENTERPRISE MEGO Gift Toy Set Commercial , Full Version (Resto

If you'd like your mind blown today, check out this newly restored Mego Toyfair reel for the Star Trek line. Dig the prototype enterprise and hum along to one heck of a weird theme tune. Amazing! #StarTrek #mego

    That just made my day!

Also, I will surely go about the rest of my day with "star trek star trek star trek....." on a loop in the soundtrack accompanying my inner monologue.

I enjoyed this, thanks for sharing and I noticed the animated drawings of what I guess were the Keeper and also the Salt Vampire.

With the Salt Vampire in the minds of mego at the time, I’m curious why it wasn’t included in the original Star Trek line of figures? instead they went with the Neptunian, which is a cool alien figure but not in any Star Trek (TOS) or (TAS) episodes.

Rumor has it that the Neptunian was supposed to be part of the mego mad monster’s series, as perhaps the Creature, but for some reason it didn’t pan out, so they went with the idea of a generic Star Trek alien.

Not complaining, I have a nice clean minty Neptunian, but curious how if they did make a Salt Vampire how it would of looked?

Just want to appreciate whoever finally built a working time machine and is generously bringing our childhood back to us! Really needed that today.

Very cool and very weird chanting in the background. I like it!

It’s like a subliminal message that’s not subliminal.

Reallly awesome to see this. Thank you so much
