So how different does a Mego need to be for you to consider it a variant?
Most of us would consider the production change from canvas to cloth WGSH shorts a variant. What about changes to the plastic mix resulting in slightly different flesh tones for Superman's head?
5-face Star Trek cards are clearly different from the later 6-faced version, but does the disappearance of "British Colony of" qualify the 1977b card as a variant?
Sure AJ's plastic Rescue Squad helmet qualifies as a variant, but what about Navy AJ's white tie simply being tied around his neck or being stitched on? (Kevin

Personally, I have a pretty high differentiation bar to qualify as a variant. Then again, that might just be my wallet trying to stamp out the collect 'em all urges in me!
