The Mego Museum Christmas Memories Spectacular!

Hey, I don’t know if you noticed but it’s Christmas! If there is something toy collectors know and like, it’s nostalgia. So let’s time travel back to the time when photography was not super great and photo mats were a thing. Several members of our community have shared that absolutely brilliant shots of Christmas past…

Just some awesome pics right there, and love seeing the old school furniture almost as much as the mego’s and other toys.

                      Wayne Foundation 1977

                      Wayne Foundation 1977.jpg

I posted this a few years back and forgot where I put the photo. My brother and I woke up to one of the best Christmas ever. Not only did we get the Wayne Foundation but newer Megos. I was around 6/7 so this very well could have been the first Christmas with action figures. Not only did we get new Batman, Robin and Superman but our first Spider-Man. Not shown are the Batmobile we got. For some reason that was the only Bat-vehicle we had. Our local store stopped selling the Bat-cycle due to too many broken returns and that Batcopter never looked right. My poor little brother played with the badguys while I played with the goodguys. When we got the Hall of Justice it became the Legion of Doom base while the heroes hung out in the WF.

It's strange that out of all the past Christmas I have had I still remember this one the most. I still have all the backboards and most of the blue furniture and the poles.
