Mego Planet of the Apes Soldier (Mint Off Card Review)

Mego Museum Mint Off Card has returned TO THE PLANET OF THE APES!

This week we look at the Soldier, the latest Mego takes on a classic apes figure. It's a new take on an old favourite but haven't we seen that head before? We also talk about variations in the line. Let's go the forbidden zone together!

It is a great figure, and looks even better in hand than in pictures. I hope for many soldier ape variants as well.

No question, this is one of those figures that has a different perception on site, especially when placed with other Apes.

I recall Doc mentioning we can look forward to some tweaks and a run of variants… that's gonna be fun.

Oh, and they should definitely have Andy sculpt the next one or five!

Good review. I really appreciate that Mego Corp. used polyester single-knit instead of spandex for the sleeves and tights--much more of a vintage feel.

I’m not an POTA collector anymore, but I really like this look for the soldiers. Great review and thanks for sharing.

I really like the looks of this one, I would probably pick him up if I ran across him in store and seen him inperson.
