Absolutely. There're at least six ST:TOS that would be ideal for the Topps trealment and desired for years by Mego Trek fans: Chapel, Rand, Vina/Orion Slave, Trelane, Mudd and the Tellarite.
Heck, Mego Corp already has everything on hand to do an official Lt. Leslie.Last edited by PNGwynne; Sep 27, '21, 10:13 PM.WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.Comment

Not necessarily. Playmates sculpted Troi’s hair with their 12 inch figures, and it looked light years better than the rooted hair in the 9-inch version.
I’m not inherently against rooted hair, but Mego hasn’t exactly hit it out of the park with their female figures this go around.Comment

I'm all in this week. I was fretting whether to get two or three Brents, just cause I was going to make a slave Brent (and it makes the shipping easier to swallow). But it seems like all I have to do is take his clothes off and throw on a loincloth. So maybe it ain't necessary to get three. Actually, there is a problem I just realized. The Mego body won't be tan enough! Brent had a crazy surfer tan, which is strange since he had been in a spaceship for presumably six months or more if they were following Taylor's trajectory. Oh wait, I got it. Those beds with the sliding doors were also for tanning. They would need the vitamin D in space!Last edited by MysteryWho; Sep 29, '21, 2:32 AM.Comment

are they not dropping new figures until the current one ends now? what, did they hear people were starting to bundle to save on shipping and decide to nix that?Comment

Here's the customer service response I received from Topps, justifying $60 to ship one figure to Canada. So much for that.
Hello,
Thank you for contacting Topps Customer Service. The prices are as listed to reflect the cost of shipping. Unfortunately, the prices have dramatically increased to ship to Canada.
Best regards,
Lori

if that's what they did and why they did it, that's pretty s*h*i*t*t*y. that's a sure fired way to alienate your customer baseComment
