The Ever Loving Blue Eyed Palitoy Thing

Completing our Trifecta of foreign cards this week, a clobberin' new addition to the Mego Museum World's Greatest Superheroes Section today courtesy of Bill Frost, it's a beautiful example of a UK Palitoy Carded Thing, only he and the Human Torch saw release on these sweet cards. No love for the Invisible Girl in London I guess....

The Mego Market Place Forum is a great place to find that part, custom head or that MOC figure you're looking for.

    Cool! Love that card.

If you click the photo it takes you to the Lizard page though.

I've never seen this card before. It's now my favorite of any carded figure!

As much as I love the US cards and as much as they are just chock full of nostalgia for me, I can never get over how much cooler these Palitoy cards are. The characters really jump out at you.

I've never seen this card, either (that I remember, anyway). Did Palitoy release and make cards for all the carded WGSH that were released on cards in the US?

          Great card. I want one.

I think Supes, Bats, Robin, Joker, Penguin, Spidey, Capt. America, Hulk, Torch, Thing and The Lizard are the only WGSH that were Palitoy carded, some also as Fist Fighters.

So I'm guessing the Captain America green-carded non-FF Palitoy card has never been photographed (or at least never by an MM member)?

I passed on one in 1999, I'm a complete idiot. It went for less than a hundred dollars in a hidden, canadian auction. What did I buy instead? Palitoy Starsky and Hutch.

The photo is stored on my (now obliterated) laptop.

I was never too interested in packaged Mego figures, especially WGSH. The art never really captured my eye. However, these Palitoy cards really strike me. These cards could make me go packaged if I looked at them long enough.
