There are a lot of places that sell toys these days, not just the big box stores. Walgreens has been a haven for a bunch of exclusives, and they aren't the only drug store chain. Mego has already shown they are able to get stuff into odd places nobody would have thought of, so I'm planning on being patient to see what other places may jump on board.Comment

That Batman is fantastic! Such a shame ebay will probably be the only way for me to get it. That means waiting even longer and bye bye to reasonable prices. But still I'm crazily excited about this Mego line, can't wait to see the final versions of WW, Flash etc.Comment

I think Target will carry the DC Megos. It has a broader appeal to kids & collectors both. Target just needs to put there leftovers o a huge clearance before then...Visit my wiki site:

The fact they have so many leftovers they need to put on clearance is probably a big factor why Target did not jump on later waves or jump on the DC Megos yet. A buyer making a decision whether to buy into a line is going to look at the brand and the product type moreso than the license involved when doing so. If the brand and product type didn't move for them previously, they may not want to double dip. The license could make a difference, however, licenses sell better in some types of products than others, and the success of the DC license in some product types doesn't mean there are other product types with the license haven't sold well, so you look at the brand (Mego) and product type (collectible action figure) are the predictor of future performance, not the license (DC). Fair or not, it comes down to numbers or buyers, and past performance of the brand/product type are the numbers they look at.
I hope other retailers jump on the DC figs besides Meijer (even though I have a Meijer closer and more accessible to me than I do Target) for the broader success of Mego, but I wouldn't count on Target jumping on unless they see the line does well at other retailers first.
