Hi all! I know I may bore some of you w/ this stuff, but since I have no kids of my own, I just have to share about other people's kids.
Noe' (no-ay) is 6yrs. old, and in my class and has been coming to my house a LOT lately. He's a big superhero fan, who also loves Star Trek and POTA. (his father's influence) I recently gave him the extra Mego Batman I had w/ the Batmobile. He loves playing w/ my Megos, and was thrilled that he was gonna get a whole 3 hours just to play w/ me. He's learning more about the dialogue aspect of pretending (he usually used just sound effects), and now he loves to make up stories, and narrate the action. Today's Batman story was about how Batman & Robin foiled the Riddler and Mr. Star (a Doc Mego blonde Robin w/ a blue jumpsuit and a star on his chest, Noe' named him) from stealing a big diamond, and escape from Riddler's giant blade trap (a spoon), and had the police (Action Jacksons) confiscate his car , and return the diamond. Noe' was also quite happy w/ the homemade Batarang and Batrope I made for him, using a twistie U-shaped top from a Kool-Aid Jammerz bottle and some yarn. Batman swung from my deck, across the yard and into the Batmobile (w/ Noe's help). Later, we played POTA using the village, jail, prison throne, weapons bench, rope ladder, various apes and a generic horse. As usual, the humans were caught, Galen was put on the throne, about to have his brain cut out. Noe' had the horse go crazy and stand on the guard ape, Pete and Alan turn the humans loose and rescue Galen. His dialogue for Zaius cracked me up. "Galen you have to start acting like an ape, and stop acting like a human!"

Ok, I've bored you enough. Since Noe' isn't my son, I can't take pics, though I'd love to.
Thanks for "listening".
