Uhura variant?

Recently I acquired 2 Uhuras. One has red lips while the other has tannish lips. It this a variation?

Slight paint differences usually do not justify a variant, but a distinct difference might. Mego changed materials so often that these things happen with paint, plastics and even uniforms. Do you have pics?

All of the original crew had the lip variations - the painted lips are more rare on the guys (I assume therefore on her as well) though it doesn't usuully make a significant change in value the painted lips are worth a little more.

Could the green lip version --- in the photo above, be just the head turning gray.

Uhura's lips remind of Ponch lips that have discoloured -- which many times are green to yellow colour.

OH yeah. . .and on a more serious note. . .thanks for posting those Soul Singer . . .interesting. . .I am gonna have to go and dig out my Uhura's and have a look now!
