Least favorite figure, in your favorite line.

The Removable cowl Batman was extremely cool, but I can still remember how bad it felt when the cowl inevitably ended up missing--

--but, I still love the painted head Batman best, because I think it somehow manages to capture Adam West, which is a good thing in my book

I would have to say Gorn he was the worst mix-up Mego ever did. He was nothing like Gorn and it was like well we have this crap laying around lets slap this on here and give him this head and what are we going to call it. "I know Gron" should have been slapped. Even MXY looked like closer than Gorn did. Granted MXy was a dumb mistake to.

for WGSH: I don't personally care for Tarzan...I like Mxy
for Star Trek: I thought the Nep was a stretch, though I hate that the gorn was brown....

Right off, I'd probably say the APES Astronaut... It's not that the head sculpt totally sucks or anything, my biggest problem with him is that they used him at all for the APES line... They should have created a bearded figure for the line... I'm not saying a clone of Heston due to the fee they would have paid him, but something even close to an AJ would have been better...

Green Goblin...they made him too happy looking. I know they didn't want to frighten children, but that big, goofy smile on that face just doesn't cut it for me.

The long girlie Mabelline eye lashes didn't exactly help either.

For me it's Mego Gorn in Star Trek and Mr. Myxp in WGSH.

my favorite line is Kiss and I like em' all,but I guess Paul would be the least since he was the only one who didn't have a head made specifically for him

Guess what? He wasn't the only one. Peter Criss is a Lex Luthor. One of these days I will get together with the MM powers that be and update the KISS section.





As for my least favorite in my favorite line I suppose it would be Cheron. Although I like him, I knew even as a kid that his outfit wasn't black and white as well. And in WGSH it's Aquaman. Pointed ears? And the outfit top should look more orange. I want him to look like Superfriends Aquaman.

I can't believe how personally disturbed I feel by some of these answers. You guys are taking shots at some of my favorite things in life.

I don't know if the comments towards Conan and Tarzan are
particular "hot buttons" in that regard (if not, I'm sure they are for some!)
---but actually I like those two quite a bit even though I did name them
as my least favorite in the WGSH line..

It's not their costume designs that particularly bug me---although
personally I'd probably prefer a body suit on CONAN---

its just that for the WGSH, TARZAN and CONAN come off as the least
"superheroey" to me---so it's easy to put them last in "the list"

Besides that aspect ----they are cool characters and make cool Megos
---like many others here I basically love the whole WGSH line---ALL OF 'EM!

The reason I picked Tarzan is you look at that cool Joe Kubert art work on the package and then you get the actual figure with that strap of his.I have no problem with the body suit I really don't. It's just the strap. Makes him look more like George of the Jungle. You just want to yell at him to watch out for trees.

I think the Green Goblin head sculpt looks pretty close to the way John Romita drew him in the 60s Spidey comics--yep, with those huge bushy eye lashes and gleeful grin--except with much smaller pointy ears than Ditko's original design (easier to pull off on a Mego head)


I don't know, in a line-up with the other WGSH dolls, I think he looks pretty darn creepy (especially the blue highlights in on his green face!)

I think Goblin's look evokes the look of the comicbook too
---yeah he's a tad cutesy---but not enough to complain (in my own personal opinion)
Ah--I dunno---maybe I'm biased because he's one of two villains I had as a kid

I really like all of the WGSH, but if I have to choose, I guess I'm not too crazy about the 8" Wonder Woman. She looks too young/girlie in the face, and the bodysuit and everything....I dunno it just looks like a young girl wearing a Wonder Woman onesie pajama outfit, lol. Compared to the 12" WW, which was pretty awesome IMO.....same with Wonder Girl, never cared for that figure either.

I love Mxy, Tarzan, Conan, and Goblin, some of my faves!!

From the Trek line, I don't care much for Talos. "Menagerie" is my favorite Star Trek episode of all time, even as a kid, so I was pretty bummed to see how they really bungled his likeness.

^^^^Yeah, if they would have made the 8 inch WW with a molded head and the costume the way they did the 12 inch, that would have been pretty cool.

i've yet to own the lizard. the sculpt is great and i think it is definitely one of mego's better figures but it just doesnt do anything for me!
