    Spidey and the apes

Just something i noticed, When ever i show my MEGO collection to non MEGO collecters over 35 they all smean to be drawn to Spiderman and the Apes. Usually with comments like cool i had a Spiderman as a kid or i had so much fun with the Apes as a kid, Yeah Superman and Batman get attention also but not like Spidey and the Apes as these tend to gather the most intrest of noncollecters

I think people like the Apes because everyone (male & female) loved the movies. And Spiderman - well he rocks!!!

When I show my megos to my female friends, they like the Apes and The Wizard of OZ best.

hmm...."Spidey and The Apes". That'd be a cool name for a rock band.

maybe it was the weekly live action spiderman show during the 70's that starred nick hammond that makes mego spiderman more memorable? i really looked forward to that show as a kid with mego spidey in hand.

Maybe the Apes take them back a little more than Heros do. Superheros never really went away, but how often does the average Joe run into classic POTA?

Sounds like an Elton John song to me.
