    AdventureCon Report......Thanks Luey!!

I got back home last night from my trip to Knoxville for AdventureCon. I had a good time, although the con wasn't as big as I thought it was going to be(think Wizard World lite) it was well organized and fun. The biggest stars there were Roddy Piper and Kane Hodder. The longest line however was for some kid from Hanna Montana, go figure right?
The best part of the trip though was meeting up with Greg Mason(Luey). He went out of his way even though he wasn't actually setting up at the show to call me and run down a list of some stuff he had for sell and brought the items I was interested in to the show. Without Greg, there were slim pickings in the way of Mego at the show, some loose beaters and maybe three MIP specimens. Just wanted to say thanks to Greg again, a really nice guy and an excellent dealer to do business with!!!!!
Here's what I came away with from the show....

The Alan Verdon and my first GI Joe as an adult are from Greg. The other two are from dealers at the show.

slim pickins is right! mostly new stuff and junk but fun all the same... even with the new addition to my family still got to stop in for a few hours each day and took Maggie today for awhile... one of the dealers is a big guy with a greying beard and Maggie said, "Hi Santa Claus" , pretty funny!

thanks Evel for the purchases, was more than happy to acccomadate... was good meeting you and the wife!
