Loose RM Robin on ebay

you have the second version window box there. I guess that the figure /could/ have came with that version box...but very doubtful. Your box has 8 characters on the side....right? The removable mask version of Robin should come with the 1st issue window box (six characters on the sides)or better yet a solid box.

you are correct, it is 8 characters (at least now I know how to tell the diff between 1st window and 2nd) ... it was not sealed, so probably wrong box...

looks ligit to me.....the mask and figure do. The box of course is not original to the figure....but @ 3 bills a very nice deal for you! I sold a nice window box version for a grand not long ago and a loose version for 4 and some change...so you really did well.

rc...this is the box that came with the figure...from reading the box descriptions on the museum, it does say that some RM robins came with the first issue window box (the one with Cap on it)... is this not that one?
while I love the figures, I am not an expert on packaging..

thanks...as mentioned, the masks (repro vs original) are like night and day to me when I look in the gallery, so I am pretty sure it is original (99%).... wow, I guess both the seller and I had no idea of its value

it wasn't an ebay purchase, I don't believe...it was via ebay, I bought some, and asked if he had others... I compared the mask to the pics in the gallery, and looks legit to me?

our friend Rudy has a loose RM Robin on ebay that is pushing $1000!!!...
I bought a MIB RM Robin (original mask) for like $300 recently.... what am I missing?....did I just get a bargain, or is someone really wanting that loose example?

I like Doc's mask better though. It's a truer fir. The original is what it is.

I compared it to the mask cut on the mego museum, and it appears 100% identical (same eye slits, etc).... the elastic is a bit stretched (doesn't fit snuggly) but I would bet it is original, as the Dr Mego mask looks significantly different (IMO)...

If the mask is truly original then you got an amazing bargain.
