Monsters VS Heroes : The Rematch

Even since I started collecting catalogs and first found this in 1989, it has been my single favourite image.



So while putting away some new acquisitions, I decided to avoid doing something constructive and try to reenact the scene.

Let me begin by saying I have new found appreciation for the good people doing the Montgomery Wards catalog, they had no photoshop and way, way more patience than I ever had. Lincoln Monsters can't pose very well and Mego figures can't make fists, so you need to be able to convey body language well, something I'm not that good at. After a few hours of trying, I came up with this WIP.....



I changed the heroes roster and haven't added the Robin/Phantom scrap yet but I don't know when I will so I thought I'd show it off. I'm bored.
