Definitely the most intricate single Mego display I've seen in person (although Jason DeWitt owns the title for largest and most intricate from all indications). Thanks for sharing, it was truly cool to see it in person, and I'm looking forward to seeing you take it even further. Star saving for Dilithium Crystals, I expect Warp Speed by this time next year!

              Simply outstanding, great work.
And to the sole person who commented on the youtube clip, how anybody could leave anything but a positive message after viewing that is beyond me!! I certainly hope your not a MM member. The bridge is too crowded? your head is too crowded ...with rocks!! dickhead.

                How did you make this?

                It's awesome!

It is constructed out of styrene plastic with a foam board frame.

The bridge was built in sections so that it could be easily/quickly assembled and disassembled.

Soon, I will start to insert the lighting systems into the main-viewing-screen section, helm console, and captain's chair.

John, thanks for taking the time and effort to bring this to the Meet this year. It was really cool to see in person. The detail, right down to the grid and lights in Spock's viewer is just amazing.

Thanks so much Dave, the fact that people enjoyed the Bridge makes all the work worthwhile!

I hope to have a much improved lighting display for next year's Megomeet...including a fully lighted turbo-lift interior and Sulu's retractable helm scanner!

If you shrunk the original set from Trek down you would have this. I loved being able to see all the wiring and the obvious amount of work involved in building it. The detail is simply incredible. It's already a work of art and John says he has a bunch of other things planned already. The sections that aren't lighted yet pop out so illuminated replacements can be installed without having to cut or dismantle existing pieces. Simply a well planned long term project. Pictures really don't do it justice. It needs to be seen in person.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

John, if you ever get a chance, can I see a better photo of just Kirk's chair (without him in it)

Being a Kirk chair nut, i'm very interested in seeing it close-up

Fantastic work! I thought it was awsome,m, I too have MR landau hang out in my bridge since the space 1999 costume is very star trek like. Loved the idea of the dead crew skeleton (I may have to steel that for future mego customs basis)

Certainly, I will take a photo of Kirk's chair (without him in it) and send it to you.
