I don't think that's it, I don't think his eyes are messed up because they wanted him to look evil. I think the sculpt got warped somehow and they paint application is poorly done.

If that were the case then, the kirk eyebrows wouldn't be as spot on as they are for the evil kirk. It seems there would be other issues as well if something was wrong in the printing of the paint. QC would probably pick up on that. "Hopefully"

I don't know. It's kind of a bummer if you want to keep him in the package. If you want to open him, it's easy to find an excellent condition Kirk on eBay for $10 to $15 bucks. Which is what I did for the Mirror, Mirror one...and I'll be doing again for this one as well.

The eye brow thing does annoy me, yes. Looks like he drew them on himself just when Sulu went Warp 9 with the Enterprise. I blame it on George Takei...

I'm probably in the minority on this, I've never liked or wanted the green shirt. It's just not iconic to me. Happy for the people that want it though.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Still a bargain for 13-15 dollars. I have an exquisite hand-made (but factory-quality) green shirt with accurate vintage detailing that cost me much more than that--and worth every cent.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

This is one I'm looking forward to. Someone here made some custom versions years ago that were good, but I sold it in the "great purge". I had a nice custom of McCoy's medical outfit too.

^I'd love to see a new McCoy with that variant. Or a M'Benga.

I think the Duane Jones sculpt from Emce's NOTLD line might make a good M'Benga. He's got a similar haircut to the one M'Benga had in Private Little War. Actually, the price is pretty fair for the shirt and the other parts. I'm in. Bring it on.

And pants, belt, phaser, communicator and mint condition body. So despite by criticism of the head...I still see value in the figure.

Same. But I already have a growing wishlist for wave 3, so one less figure is probably a good thing for my wallet. And as you said, happy for those who want him.
