Wave 3 is going to be awesome - and 2019 is already in progress for Spring and Summer. I'm glad you like the 14 inch line - it is going to explode!

Meanwhile, I have no idea what Mattel has going on anymore... I feel like they have DC figures in every scale they can, up to 12 inches, with all kinds of lines, from Barbie to DC Superhero Girls to the sophisticated action figures to the JLAction playline to the Imaginext stuff. Maybe 14 inch was the only window Mego had. Otherwise I think they would have made 8 inch figures for all of the diehards and so people on FB would quit saying "Why arent they making superheroes?"

I do like the 14 inch figures and for the price they are just amazing! I only planned to get Zod and Superman, then ended up with a Wonder Woman thanks to a friend and am so glad I have her because she is gorgeous! I'm trying to limit myself to just my favorites though, because as Brian said, I see this line being a hit and continuing... and I don't need or have space for every character in this size. It's hard to resist some of them, like Poison Ivy, because they look so good and because there's a rush of excitement about them right now. But I'm not a Batman collector. So characters like HQ and Joker are an easy pass for me. Just trying to ask myself "Will I love and have space for every one of these in a year?" before I go overboard. I may end up with that Batgirl though!
Thank you Mary - since the 12 inch MEGOs were actually 12.5", we wanted to go with 13 inch for the new line, but Warner Bros. preferred 14 inch, so we upped it.

Very grateful for your and Marty's efforts ALL AROUND... that said, i hope all other scales are primed to "explode" (as you put it) as equally/consumately as the 14 inch line (i.e. that the 14 inch libe isn't a larger focused on part of Mego's return). And, of course, it won't be the end of the world if that isn't the case!

Two things brought up in this thread posted since my previous visit struck me that i thought I'd mention.

The idea that the 8 inch scale was more the anomaly than a larger scale that had preceded it. Personally, i only have the vaguest recollections of my older cousins larger scale dolls from back in the day... but i DO remember them, and, secondly, combining THAT notion with the "scaling up: mandate by modern day DC/WB fills in the gaps quite a bit on why this scale is currently so successful!

Thanks for the input guys/gals! Keep enjoying those big bright heroes!

EDITED TO ADD: I've bought ten to fifteen eight-inch Target Megos (and plan on MUCH MORE----getting my green-shirt Kirk offa eBay TODAY)... but as far as me and DC characters 12-inch and up (and, plus 1-inch [13 inch], plus 2-inches [14 inch], et al)....well, you can see that in other threads around here...MEGO has a lot of competition!
