Is it just me, or did anyone else take Aquaman to a pool, aquarium, or a tub shortly after getting him as a kid? Mine was wet within minutes. I did take the gloves off first though. LOL
Mine was wet all the time. Pool in the back yard and the tub and even the kitchen sink when mom would let me. He was the first to wrought away and my grandma made him a new outfit because he was a mess due to all the water.
Yeap Aquaman and the back yard swimming pool were good friends but by the end of summer 74 i found out that water and MEGOs don't go together His outfit was trashed and his metal joints rusted and the elastic rubber holding his body together rotted
As a kid, I was so excited about taking my Mego Aquaman into the tub that I got in with my socks on. Oops.
Mina is the world's first Paranormal Petsitter in the new middle-grade book series by Gary Buettner, MONSTER PETS, coming in FALL 2014 from EMBY KIDS. Spooky adventure that's perfect reading for kids 8-12 https://www.facebook.com/monsterpetsbooks?ref=hl
Yeah, I always thought it was really unfair to make a water faring superhero like Aquaman and not be able to get him wet. The same thing has been done w/ Gil Gripper of th Rescue Heroes and his boat and gear. It says (in really SMALL writing), on the package "Do not immerse in water". What little kid is gonna read that? I'm glad the newer 12" GIJoes can go in water. My students and I have filled the baby pool at my school w/ water many times and had undersea adventures w/ Joe, his scuba suit and some assorted toy sea life.

Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."

I never had Aquaman as a Kid ,.. so no.
& Because of the fact I am a toy collector,.. I wont let my son play with his figures in the tub or water outside.
