    KISS figures future

So with the teaser of the Mego Paul Stanley figure, I can't help but wonder what the future of that franchise is. So far FTC has held the license, and just released the love gun figures in retro package and the new 18" figures to come. So I'm a bit confused over the future for these figures.
I will say that I'm not a fan of the sculpted hair vs. rooted hair, but I'd be all over an Eric Carr figure whichever kind of hair he has.

I like the price point. For $15 I will buy KISS figures. If I do not like how the sculpted head looks I can buy a rooted head on CTVToys for $5.

Right now I'm under the impression the Mego/Target run is going to be more about sampling licensing in the 8 inch scale, while having a deeper commitment to the 14 inch line where DC resides. With regards to KISS, I think I would be more interested in knowing if Mego intends to release all four core members during their Target exclusive run or if this is simply a partial release due to licensing restrictions. I've seen some companies do just a Paul/Gene combo on merchandise so I would be curious where Mego stands on this license.

Will be interesting to see, as all four Kiss characters are depicted on the "Starchild" sneak preview card, and we know that Gene Simmons/Demon will hit in wave 3 (so a "classic" rockstar in each wave) at Target. After the first of the year, the exclusive license to Target will end, but that does not mean that Megos will disappear from Target. In fact, I am hoping they stay in Target and also are elsewhere, such as Walmart? If so, perhaps we'll have the same or similar "Target-branded" cards and different card art for non-Target locations. I think we'll see the other two members of Kiss in 8" format for sure (but not until after the 1st of 2019). I think a figure of Eric Carr a longshot at best, as from my understanding, Kiss Corporation owns the makeup and likenesses rights to the original four plus the Ankh Warrior (Vinnie Vincent) but not Eric Carr. From other Kiss forums, it seems that Vinnie Vincent himself owns Eric Carr's makeup (or did own it). That explains why MacFarlane Toys only produced the Eric Carr figure with the "prototype"makeup (as shown on People magazine back in the day) and not Eric's signature makeup. Interesting query....
