Believer Magazine has made this wonderful article about the 2004 Mego Con available online. It's a great read.

That was very well written! Fun. Sure has the feel of being written contemporaneously.

I was there on a Saturday, but hadn’t really known anyone well enough to introduce myself. I came with my brother-in-law. Also, at the time, the table room was very hectic with some sort of happening. We stayed an hour or two and headed home, but it was neat. We really enjoyed the display room! Bought a Daredevil from David Lee and something from Doc, I think.

At the time; I was already a member of the museum, but at some point, in the not too distant future, after being signed out, I either forgot my password and/or exact screen name. I can’t remember the details, but I went ahead and made the EmergencyIan screen name to solve the problem.

Yeah that was a fun time. It's the only Mego con I've ever been to, though I ponder going every year.
