    Wanted: Tex Willer by Baravelli

Another amazing vintage ad donated by our friend Eddie, this time it’s the Mego/Baravelli Tex Willer figures. What a gorgeous thing to uncover!

As a graphic designer, I am very envious of whoever worked at Baravelli back in the day. Fantastic stuff!!!

Cool poster. And Mego Fact: the eyes are all different from their twin sculpts and unique to those figures. How do I know this? advanced collecting 101. experience and reference.

Tex's eyes look sort of like this. Trapezoid.jpg Trapezoid

          batmanheads.jpg

*Brown hair and have no white dot in the pupil (*Thanks Brain and Rob Chatlin for that info many years ago).

Do a side by side sometime, those fortunate enough to own these rare gems.

Note: Kit Carson has same eye paint as King Arthur but White hair like Buffalo Bill. If you have a head like this on Buffalo Bill, you really have a Kit Carson in Bill's clothes!

            Wow. That is really nice!

Don’t know why but every time I see these, I smile. They are some of the nicest Mego’s (in my opinion ofcourse). Took me years to put this set together - with no regrets

I really enjoy seeing this poster art, those Baravelli western characters were pretty darn sweet, nice and colorful
              thanks for sharing this.

Love Tex Willer. Took me ages to find one. Eventually found one in his native Italy. Great display item:

yeah Tex drove me bonkers too. Found all the others and then played the waiting game.
