Favourite Mego Superman Toy?

Definitely the "Christopher Reeve" Superman. Would love to know what happened to mine Mom. That was the first thing I searched for and purchased on ebay, had to re-have it. Couldn't wait for the package to show up. Da da da DAA dada.

8" type 1 for me, too. as he was the first. Comic action supes comes in 2nd. I had the fortress and also used the FP Action People TV van as Galaxy Broadcasting

The bottom line is that Mego produced a few great Superman action figures. For me, it's also the type 2 Superman, but I also loved the 12 inch movie version, the pocket heroes Superman and the 1979 Mego die-cast version.

I had the 8 inch t2 as a kid ...but since all my collecting I really like my 12 inch skinny superman

8 inch Superman. Stirrup suit, big emblem in solid box. First Supes I ever had. I'll probably never own another one of those but the type 1 on my shelf with a repro sticker puts a smile on my face. Any mego Superman is a good Superman.

Die Cast Superman...the best sculpt, beautiful box and literally a "Man of Steel" I was just amazed at a figure made of METAL.

I never had any of the mego metal figures but I had other metal figures and they were so cool. I definitely miss metal toys, wood too.
