    Mego sighting in new book

Don't know if its already been mentioned....... I was at B&N today flipping through a book called "Ironman: Beneath the Armor" and found two pages showcasing a loose, boxed, and carded Ironman. The carded Ironman was just about in perfect condition, I wonder if Mark H donated the pictures or if someone out there has one as nice as the one in his collection.

I saw that too...book was written by Andy Mangels...I think he has connections to some Museum members here.

I provided the pictures to author Andy Mangels, who is a personal friend, with permission from the Iron Man Card owner (the Loose and MIB figures belong to me).

Strangely, (and unfortunately, IMO) Andy's publisher decided to do some heavy Photoshop on all the images, resulting in the appearance of another carded Iron Man. It is, in fact, the same Iron Man Card featured in World's Greatest Toys (which has a recognizable litho tear), except that their photo is heavily re-touched.

So that Iron Man used to be Mikes but it's so retouched he didn't even recognize it?

Andy Mangels is a really nice guy, if you're a filmation fan, he's your best friend.
