Christmas 1976. Our local supermarket had a small toy section and stocked some of the POTA figures. All Palitoy carded as I'm from the UK.
I got Galen, Dr Zaius and Ursus and my brother got Verdon, Galen and Zaius. That was the start of the Mego-magic. I received others at future Christmases but that first one will always be the most special.
Getting my Hutch figure was also very special but it wasn't at Christmas and therefore, doesn't count in this thread.Comment

I distinctly remember Christmas 1975...I came down to find under the tree The Enterprise Bridge, Kirk, Spock, Bones, Uhura, Scotty, and Klingon waiting for me.
Christmas 1978 too, I got The Wayne Foundation.
If only I knew then what I know now...Comment

Three different years stand out to me...one year I got the 8" Spider-Man and Spider-Car, one year I got all three Hulks...pocket, 8 inch, and 12 inch, and the last Mego year for me was all Dukes of Hazzard. 3.75 inch Bo, Luke, Daisy, Roscoe, Boss Hogg, and the General Lee. That one got the most playtime. I jumped that car over everything! LOLComment
