I always thought Big Jim's PACK done on Pulsar bodies would be cool as well.; especially Dr Steel.

Conan would have been crazy cool, but I bet mego wouldn't want to bother because of the accessories.
Making a 12 inch mego back in the day the characters with just outfits and no accessories would be an easier
to do project, so an Aquaman definitely could have been done along with Tarzan and Shazam.Comment

Taken out of context that sounds like sci-fi/fantasy dialogue.... which, admittedly, a lot of posts round these parts do.... but that one has a kind of "story" to it with the "Dr. Cyclops" bit.

It's tough to pick, but Joker or Green Goblin would be cool, but then so would Mad Monster Frankenstein.Expectation is the death of discovery.Comment

I never got into the 12inch figures ( my brother had both the Hulk and the movie styled Superman as a kid).
But an obvious choice would have been either Apache Chief or Giant-Man / Goliath from the Avengers.Customizing 1:9: My Videoblog journey of Customizing!

My favorite mego character growing up as a kid in the '70's was the Falcon so I would have to go with that one. On the DC side, I am partial to the gals so would have to go with Batgirl & Supergirl (tie) since Wonder Woman was already done in the 12" size and I never liked the blue Catwoman costume that mego used during the '70's.Comment

Personally, I would want the 12” Dr. McCoy that was originally intended for the ST:TMP line.
I’d also want a 12” Aquaman as he is one of my favorite comic characters, but I agree, I’m not sure what that would look like. To me, the “true” Aquaman either looks like the Nick Cardy version from the 60’s or the Dick Giordano version from the 80’’s. At the time Mego was doing these, Jim Aparo’s version was kind of the standard in comics. But for most kids in general, Aquaman looked like the Alex Toth/Hanna Barbara version.
When I think of possibilities for a 12” line I always try and think who would benefit from the extra detail the larger size affords. I think a 12” Doctor Octopus would have been great.Comment
