God Bless MegoSteve And All That Sail Upon Her

i got an email from MegoSteve the other day, asking me if had found the DC Super Friends Aquaman Sub vehicle yet.

i had not (i must have a lot of eBay power sellers in my neighborhood), and he told me he's been seeing them a lot.

he then offered to pick one up for me if he saw one, which i thought was mighty generous. i said absolutely.

less than a few hours later, he emailed me AGAIN to say he found one! WOW!

he then had it in the mail to me the next morning, and it just arrived a few minutes ago!

not only that, but the package was filled with other assorted aqua bric-a-brac! DOUBLE WOW!

i can't thank steve enough for all the effort he put into this, and i'm so jazzed i finally have my Aqua-Sub! (pics will appear on the Shrine on Monday)

    THANK YOU MEGOSTEVE!

    rob!

I could fill a warehouse with "Steve helping me out" stories, he would probably have trouble filling a port o john with stories about me helping him.

                Thats a great story
Lo there do I see my Father.
Lo there do I see my Mother and my Sisters and my Brothers.
Lo there do I see the line of my people back to the begining.
                Lo they do call me.
They bid me take my place among them.

In the interest of fairness, here are some of the terrible things I've done in the past year:

                    1. Got the incorrect amount of change back from a cashier and then kept it.
                    2. Ate the last piece of pizza without asking anyone else if they wanted it.
                    3. Tried to steal someone's domain by putting it on backorder. Too bad they renewed it during the redemption period.
                    4. Bought MP3s from one of those Russian music sites.
                    5. Entertained naughty thoughts about a girl that works at Staples.
                    6. Drove at speeds upwards of five to ten miles an hour over the speed limit.
                    7. Refused to edge every time I mow the lawn.

I gotta say that the Aqua Sub is one of the best toys I've seen in the past year. The shark shape of the sub makes for an awesome toy, and I was pretty psyched about being able to put one in the hands of the #1 Aquaman Fan™ in the world.

I think I get more of a charge out of buying toys for other people that are going to really love them than I do for myself!
