Up Close: Santa Clark by NECA

If we woke up tomorrow with our head sewn to the carpet, we wouldn’t be more surprised than we when NECA announced this action figure of Chevy Chase from the Christmas classic comedy “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation”.

In what we hope is a continuing series (the world is a dark place without Eddie, Ellen, Todd and Margot) this Mego scaled figure comes with some memorable props from the film and in a collectible friendly box (which makes him easier to store with the other Christmas decor)

So, as with all of our “Mego Museum Up Close” features, we let the pictures do the talking. All the figures were popped directly from the packaging, posed but there is no augmentation or fixing, they are as I got them.

Thanks for the review! I put a bug in my wife's ear for this one.

One of my favorite parts of Christmas Vacation is when Clark delivers the diatribe about how bad he's treated by the people he works for, rips up his subscription to the jelly of the month club, dunks a cup in the eggnog, and rasps "It's good! It's good." I don't know why but it cracks me up every time.

I can't wait to pick up this figure. To quote Clark "It's good!"

I look forward to these photo reviews. Great job again Brian!
Expectation is the death of discovery.

^That's one of my favorites too, and I say it every time I take a first drink of egg nog.

The facial expression itself is worth getting this, maybe I'll grab two and make a Caddyshack Ty Webb custom.
