I've done that, too--just not with Megos, yet.

I've done that with comics, despite having lists with me that are supposed to keep me from doing just that.

I've done that with comics once in awhile, but never with toys. For some reason I have encyclopedic knowledge of nearly every toy in my collection (ie. when and where I got it, how much it cost, etc). When I get older I'll probably start forgetting family members' names before I start forgetting what toys I own...

BTW, that one on the left seems to have an especially nice skin tone, try to keep him away from any light. Mine used to look like that, he's grey now. :(

I've done it with comics and sci-fi/fantasy paperbacks all too often, but outside of Heroclix and miniatures for D&D and the like, I haven't unintentionally duplicated a toy or action figure (though I got far too many doubles of the Super-Hero Girls Happy Meal toys recently, most of which found a home among my wife's co-workers kids).

Done it way too much with Star Wars and other lines.

I understand all too well Brian. Sorting through my stored collectibles is really hitting me like this. Just came across a second set of autographed BBP BSG Apollo and Starbuck figures the other day. That's by no means my first experience at that either. Of course I like two of my most favorite figures in any line, but I'm on the verge of jumping the shark in this category when I'm subconsciously doing it. Of course the twisted collector in me found a way to find added value in the duplicate purchase. Dirk autographed his with a black marker on the backer card as opposed to silver on the plastic container. Both versions came from Entertainment Earth.

Yeah I've done that too. I've done it with comics and paperbacks also. When I was a kid I would watch my dad forget something and think "How could he forget that ?". 20+ years later: Now I know.

Oh btw I love that Phantom of the Paradise figure. Is that a custom? I would love some PotP re-megos. Now I'm going to have to pop in the DVD to hear some of that music.

Better than the sinking feeling you get when you get home and realize you passed up something you thought you had, but don't!

I've done the same thing multiple times; I have so many duplicate WGSH Alter-Egos, Solid-boxed RM Robins, and Aquaman vs the Great White Shark sets it's ridiculous !

Oooh, yeah, I've been there. Well, it's never been anything major, but I get confused about what I have and what i don't have, so I've LEFT stuff at shows, flea markets, etc. The Comic Action and Pocket Heroes are a HUGE blindspot for me. I can never recall which ones, or which versions I have. And they are in a glass case in my dining room! I look at them EVERY DAY!!!

                            So don't feel bad.
