    MEGO HULK hero or villian

Reading HardyGirls thread hero or villian got me wondering, Those that had the HULK as kids did you play him as a hero or a villian? As a kid i never had the Hulk but my fried did and he always played him as a bad guy the whole HULK SMASH routine, He would fight the other MEGO heroes

Hulk was typically a monster bad guy when I played with my Megos. He was the primary villain for the Fantastic Four. Reed Richards was always trying to cure the Hulk and that led to some wild battles. There was this one time that the FF needed to call in the Avengers and...

I always played the Hulk as he was in the comics of the time...sometimes the hero, sometimes the villian. Hulk pretty much just smashed and bashed his way through what was annoying him...once the smashing and bashing was done, he turned back to Bruce Banner (Oddly enough, I used Fonzie for Banner?) and Banner had to sort out whether what he had just done was right or wrong. If it was wrong, I would have Banner try to make restitution somehow. Pretty intense for a kid, but I took playtime quite seriously!!!

I had a completely different play scheme for Pocket heroes Hulk. I portrayed him as the Hulk was in some of the earlier issues of the series. Banner (Kane from Buck Rogers....because he had purple pants natch.) controlled the transformation process to the Hulk, and when the Hulk, Banners intellect was still in control.

I had him as you can see and he was both. It all depended on what the neighbor kid brought for hulk to SMASH.[IMG][/IMG]

Never had him as a kid. When I do wind up with him,he won' be a hero or villain,he'll be the dumb sidekick like he is in Toyfare.

On topic the hulk for me would always start out trying to be a good guy but that temper would always get the best of him.

Hulk was always the good guy.

Think B.A. Where did you hide the Megos?

I had the Hulk, but I never really played with him. His fists were to big to
                    wear Action-Mans clothes.

All I remember is playing with spider-man, he went everywhere.
I used to sing his theme tune.

                    "Spider-man, spider-man
                    does whatever a spider can
                    squeeze's things any size
like a pizza in your eyes"

Used to do the same with Batman...different theme tune tho
"I've just bought a house. It's got a Buck Rogers Toilet. One yank, all gone!"
