    Cincinnati Toy Show Oct. 23rd

Anyone else going to this? I believe this is being put on by the same folks who do the Columbus Show. The whole clan is planning on being there this weekend, and I hope to find some nice vintage toy swag, like I did on my one trip to Columbus.

Buy, sell, trade, new and retro toys, video games, and collectibles at Ohio's greatest gathering of collectors and dealers!

Yeah it's CTS putting on the show. Wish I could, but budget and work schedule preclude me from making the 90 minute drive down to Cinci for the show.

^It was a great show! One of those shows where you just start seeing stuff you want as soon as you hit the door, and you're afraid you'll blow your budget before you walk past the first row of tables!

One dealer was blowing out DC Collectibles figures MIP for $10 a pop. I finally started my BTAS collection. Other great deals at this show. Got some nice vintage stuff too!

How was attendance? There was a lot of competition-Kane County Toy Show in Illinois and TFCon (a Transformers Con) in Chicago drew off a lot of local vendors here who usually do the CTS shows, and there were a lot of folks upset the were all concurrent because they had to pick which show to attend. I was wondering how it affected attendance and number of dealers.

My budget was committed to a local comic show (the only one held in our town) next weekend and had other commitments Sunday afternoon, so I had to pass on the Cinci show this time around.

^I'm not really sure how to gauge attendance, but it seemed plenty busy. Lots of money changing hands and folks walking around with arms full of toys, or dragging luggage carts in some cases! The show area was quite a bit smaller than what I remember in Columbus, but it was full of booths. Nice balance between new and vintage too.

It was good, tons of stuff. One dealer had several loose Mego AFA's ( I know some frown upon). Some normal dealers were not there (Kane co) but this has turned into a great annual show in my opinion
