    Harry Potter Up Close

NextGen Mego collector Jonah Adams takes a closer look at the Harry Potter line from Figures Toy.......

We’ve had so much Super Hero product coming from Figures Toy Company, the Harry Potter Series feels like it got overlooked. Here’s a look at the highly detailed (working zippers!) trio of Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Draco Malvoy. These are the 8 inch figures, also produced as 12 inchers. These photos were art-directed by…Read more →

Having never seen any of the movies or read any of the books these really look like a nice line of figures. That last character with the bowl cut...Looks like Adam Rich from 8 Is Enough. Could that be the next line for Figures Inc?? I hope not.

They look like nice figures. I am surprised that such a huge franchise as Harry Potter would only have three figures in the line though.

I was hoping that this line would avoid the humongous head syndrome.

After ALL of the complaints that we have no doubt sent FTC's way, and they STILL produce heads like this?

        Uh, no.

And I was looking forward to getting at least Hermione and Luna and McGonagall.

The HP figures look great to me.

I think these figures look fine, but in my case, I'm just not a big fan of that license. I saw the first film and enjoyed that one, but never had any interest thereafter. I hope FTC finds those fans of the series to buy this line.

I am hoping the line will get fresh legs once the new movies come out. As much money as people drop at the theme parks I am inclined to believe the demand is out there somewhere. I'll be making a Hermione and Voldemort if they aren't released.

FTC should sell these at the theme parks gift shops. They should also talk to Warner Bros. about getting the Super Heroes into the Six Flags parks gift shops. Seems like it would be a good way to boost sales. Even their Knights and Pirates and Western lines could be sold in gift shops at Story Land (in New Hampshire, not sure if there are similar them parks in other states with this theme).
