Try Walmart or Michaels Crafts. It is called Stretch-rite Round Elastic Cord. The best is stock #3602W but I have used the flat elastic cord as well.

Yesterday I got my L'Amico Jackson Agente Segreto boxed accessory set from Bryan. I decided that I am going to open it up and put the uniform on one of my 3 Action Jacksons. I decided to put it on my white bearded one because he has the dark blue jumpsuit and my African American AJ is also in the dark blue jumpsuit. So I open the box, get the figure out, remove the jumpsuit, get the spy pants on, get the spy shirt halfway on, and then SNAP the right arm breaks off at the elbow. SONOVA!

At least I have the jumpsuit lined-up for a trade.

Man, That sucks! I hate it when that happens. Best of luck to you finding the replacement parts, elastic and restringing him if you decide to do so.

Last night I returned to my local A.C. Moore and found an employee that actually knew what she was doing. I asked her for "Stretch-rite Round Elastic Cord" and she instantly brought me over to the jewelry section of the store. There I found Nicole Jewelry Accessories Elastic Cord from Nicole Crafts. There were about 5 different width sizes to choose from. I chose the second thickest as the thickest looked too large for the T-1 armholes. The cost was $1.99 for 6 yards of the elastic cord so I bought 3 packages.

This morning I re-strung my broken arm AJ and two of his loose brothers in less than 10 minutes. Holy crap!

BTW, the thickest cord looks like it would have been a perfect match for the original Mego cord. Oh well.
