Ken Kelly is a god. I came across audio a few months ago of Daryl DePriest talking about how he and a couple of his colleagues at Hasbro discovered the original molds and tools which were used to create the 1970's versions of these figures in a Japanese warehouse which were believed to have been lost or destroyed. I don't have a link to the audio handy, but it is interesting stuff.Last edited by Bionicfanboy66; Jan 30, '17, 11:46 PM. -
I can't believe how big the box is. I was thinking way smaller of a box. I haven't opened it yet, but the picture a few posts before this one shows a diorama that I assume is how it's set up in the box. Way cool!!Leave a comment:

hasbrotoyshop.com will have what ever is left after SDCC, just finding when they go online is the trick.Leave a comment:

Since they'll offer these on their web site as well,it'll mean they'll be gone in about half an hour.Leave a comment:

That seems to be their goal for the new series, actually. Or it was, at some point. The weird thing in all of this is if both properties are finally fully under Hasbro, why didn't they add Micronauts to the Transformers Universe? I mean if you think it through Biotron was arguably the first Transformers. The progenitor from which all others sprung. He is Primus.

That Galactic Defender is sporting new legs/feet, missile, and head! They all seem to have new upper arms? This is a set I need for sure.Leave a comment:

Supposedly Micronauts will be part of the Hasbro Cinematic Universe, sharing a universe with GI Joe, ROM Spaceknight, The Visionaries, MASK and a few others. So they likely are gearing up for some new toys. The big question is if it will be a classic release, a new consumer line or an Adult collectable thing ala Takara's new Diaclone reboot. If you haven't seen their new DiaBattles set, it's amazing. You can tell it is based on the bridge toys between Micronauts and Transfomers.
