This year’s Aw Yeah Mego Meet event was held on June 18th in Skokie Illinois at the Doubletree Hotel and Conference Center.

This year’s show was filled with a particularly positive energy, kicked off by a new feature, the launch party graciously hosted by our partners at Aw Yeah Comics Skokie. Early bird attendees enjoyed snacks and refreshments in a relaxed setting. It was the perfect way to begin.

so much awesome in one single weekend. I'm exhausted, and wish it could have gone on for at least another day or two. Not enough time to spend with everyone, not enough time to see everyone, not enough time to make customs at the meet, not enough trips to Portillo's.

Can't wait for next year.

Too awesome! Really hoping I can make it some time soon. Lil D is getting old enough now that I would like to bring him with me. He would flip out if he saw all of these figures and toys. Of course he would expect me to buy two of each. Can we say the collector in him has been established? Looks like a great time was had by all. Thanks for sharing those great pics.

It was a short but sweet visit for me this year, we had a great time and big thanks to everyone for being kind and chatty with my wife and I. She started feeling a bit under the weather and we had to bolt before the Suite gathering after the show unfortunately :( But we really enjoyed the whole experience and had a great day overall. Hope to see everyone again next year, already looking forward to it!
