    The Great FrankenBumps mystery!

    A new Mego discovery and a mystery. The original artwork for the unproduced FrankenBumps toy has surfaced. Thanks to our friends at Treehouse Collectibles for the scoop!

    Many Mego collectors know about Frankenbumps the never released vacuum pump figure (the concept was later used on Cap Toy’s Vac Man) from 1982.     Wow, that's really neat!

    Those kids look similar to Earl Norem's style, but that's just an educated guess.

      Norem is my guess too. It's interesting that in the finished product, they took the kids out.

      Looking at this FF, I'm convinced it's Norem

            Boy, do I LOVE Earl Norem art! His work always stood out to me and I've still got my childhood books he drew covers on: G.I. Joe digests, MOTU (magazine), amd Conan. Not that long ago I bought the Drak Horse HC MOTU art book, it's wonderful! That Fantastic Four image is all kinds of wonderful.

                I still have my childhood copy of that Norem FF book. He also did a Spider-Man in that same series. Simply gorgeous stuff!
