Removing sticker residue from bubble question

I know this has been discussed before. Does any lighter fluid work or is there something else that works best?

Goo Gone. Doesn't damage the box and there's no fear of lighting it on fire because it is citrus based. Hope that helps

yep the oil in peanut butter works just fine! Goo gone is just great as well as is lighter fluid. I've used it for years without problems so use what you will

A good glob of Vaseline and a Q-Tip does pretty nicely, too....
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

I had a big blob of sticker goo on the bubble of an Andorian I recently won, and I used Meeco's Red Devil Gel Firestarter on it:

With some elbow grease, I managed to eventually polish off about 99.9% of it leaving a crystal clear bubble.

The down side was, I had been sticking my finger into the package through a crack in the bottom of the bubble to push against the cloth as I worked, and in doing so I apparently broke my Andorian's left knee joint!

The moral of the story is: Gel Firestarter works great, but be careful you don't break your toy in the process. It's not worth it.

Qtip and Goo Gone is all you need. Might need more than 1 Qtip for the dirtier glue jobs...but that's basically it and nothing gets broken or damaged or potentially set on fire. Trust me...been doing this for close to 20 years.
